“Invasives in the Urban Forest” class is Nov. 30 in Macon

Back by popular demand! Did you miss our Invasives Species class inthe spring?  On November 30, we’re bringing it to Macon!  Noted researchers from the University of Georgia’s Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health (Tifton, GA) will discuss invasive species in the urban forest, available treatments for invasives plants and insects, alternatives for invasive landscape trees, and more.  Arborist CEUs will be available. 2.5 Cat 1 SAF CFE hours. 2 Commercial Pesticide Credit Hours for categories 23,24, and 27.  Landscape architects and others will receive a certificate for their records.
Date and Time: November 30, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location:  Claystone Park at Lake Tobesofkee, 6600 Mosley Dixon Road, Macon, Georgia  31220 (in covered pavillion).
