"Professor Dieckmann's" Magnolias

Professor Dieckmann's Magnolias are located on the Agnes Scott Campus, in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia. These 3 large Magnolia grandiflora, were collected from nearby woods around 1905 by Christian W. Dieckmann, Agnes Scott Professor of Music from 1905-1949. These tree have been registered as Landmark trees on the Georgia Landmark & Historic Tree Register.
