The "Battle of Decatur" White Ash, located on the Agnes Scott College campus, in Decatur, DeKalb County, GA, is a large Fraxinus americanna, dated to 1854, and grow 260 feet south of the ridge where Union troops were entrenched during the Battle of Decatur. This tree has been registered as an historic tree on the Georgia Landmark & Historic Tree Register.
